The findings underline the importance of strengthening training in paediatric surgery to improve access and reduce inequities.
The conference brought important conversations on decolonising global health, building sustainable, equitable NorthโSouth partnerships and tackling future global health challenges. We were particularly pleased to see surgery highlighted with its own parallel session - a reflection of the fact that Universal Health Coverage and SDG 3 cannot be achieved without surgical care.
Thank you to the Centre of International Health,University of Bergen (UiB)Opens in new tabfor putting together such a strong and well-curated programme, and to all participants for making the conversations between sessions just as meaningful.
